Is Dream Analysis Really Worth a Fee?

Isn’t it a waste of money to pay for such a thing?

Let’s look at it this way. How much does a repair person or plumber charge just to step into your house before even doing any work? $40, $60, even more? How much would it cost to have a person mow your yard? And you know how easy that is.

How often do you change your own oil or replace your old muffler? Most people can do these things, and they can save BIG money if they do it themselves, but why don’t they? The answer is time. You got better or more enjoyable things to do with the time. You find value in any given service because it saves you time and allows you to do other things. Not only that but the person providing the service can often do it better because that person does it so much more often than you or I. There lies another import factor in the value of a given service.

I can make a pretty good latte at home for less than a quarter, but I still like to go the coffee shop and have them make one for me at price of $3.95 plus sales tax. Sometimes it is just plain worth it. There is no need to make excuses.

The truth is you can learn to interpret your own dreams, but is more complicated than just buying a book or looking up a few words. Within a short time it becomes “work” for most people and they quickly drop it, or they don’t “dig in” hard enough to have it work correctly. Eventfully they give up on dreams altogether. Others will fall into the common mistakes and pitfalls of the beginner and quit because it seems a waste of time when the errors in their results seem to make no sense and it does not seem to be worth any more work..

There is nothing wrong with not wanting to do the work. Different people are predisposed to different kinds of work. Some people like kids so much that watching them is a pleasure; others would prefer to mow the lawn or clean the house for twice the same amount of time. Some people trim their cat’s claws; other people take the cat somewhere to get it done. Some women do their own nails, some pay to have it done, other don’t do them at all. It’s all good.

Some people may not see the value in a dream interpretation, others may not see the value in going to a movie theater, buying a case of beer, or paying for a car wash. It is simply a matter of individual choices, preferences, values, and available time.

When you consider how much you are paying for the amount of time that is spent interpreting your dream, the service is often less per hour than a haircut or many other services you don’t think twice about paying.

Simply put, it is a service and a convenience, much like prepared food or any other service we encounter in our daily lives. Whether Dream Analysis, or any other service, is worth the price or not depends on you, your needs, your wants, your time, your situation, and the quality of the person providing the service.
